The Association was formed in 1996 with the launch of the Bayshore Condominium Estates community development. The Association is composed of six unit owner buildings comprising forty-eight individual units. There is a common heated pool with a pool equipment house and washroom available to all unit owners and their guests. The lakeshore provides a common pier in the center for use by all unit owners and two limited common element piers with sixteen boat slips which are reserved for the slip owners. Slips are separately deeded property and are not part of the Association's property.
Currently, the Association is self-managed, meaning the President, Vice President, and Directors are elected for varying terms of service and are aided by unit owner volunteers. There are also five standing committees that are also chaired by unit owner volunteers. We take a great deal of pride in the volunteer participation of our unit owners and through their efforts, we are able to keep our monthly dues low.
It is the Associations responsibility to oversee all of the common elements for which the Association is responsible. It is the individual unit owner's responsibility to manage their individual units basically remaining responsible for all interior elements of their units as well as all doors and windows. The Association is responsible for all building exteriors, the pool, common pier, grounds, and all roads, driveway, and parking areas.
